Who we are

This website is run by TelcoKnowledge Ltd, a private networks advisory firm with offices in London, United Kingdom, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at info@telcoknowledge.com.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiries. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, company, message and, if you give it, your phone number. We use them to reply and to discuss your enquiry. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe we keep your email address to send you articles on private networks. Our legal basis is your consent, and every email lets you unsubscribe.
  • Website analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. We use this to improve the site. Our legal basis is your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and no longer than two years unless we start working together. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Who we share it with

Our web hosting and email providers process data on our behalf. If you accept analytics cookies, Google processes usage data and may transfer it outside the UK under its own safeguards. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@telcoknowledge.com. If you are in the UK and unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and similar storage

The site remembers two choices in your browser: your light or dark theme (tk-theme) and your cookie choice (tk-consent). Neither identifies you. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you click Accept analytics:

  • _ga: distinguishes visitors, expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID>: keeps the session state, expires after 2 years.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.
